Terms of Service
By accessing or using officer.app, platform.officer.app, or the Officer mobile app (together, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms and confirm you are at least 18 years old and authorized to accept them, including on behalf of any organization you represent.
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
What Officer.app Is
Officer.app operates (a) a public directory of law enforcement agency information, and (b) an authenticated platform with role-based access for Customers, Agencies and Partners.
Tiered Access
Browsing the Directory requires no account. Customer accounts are self-service. Agency and Partner accounts require an Agreement. The Officer app is invite-only: it becomes usable only after an officer's Agency onboards to the platform and that Agency invites the officer, and its features are limited to whatever that agency has enabled. App Store or Google Play availability does not itself grant functional access.
What Officer.app Is Not
Officer.app is not an employer, staffing agency, dispatcher, agent, broker or referral service for any officer or agency. It does not recruit, screen, supervise, dispatch or set rates for officers; verify the credentials, authorization, or employment status of any listed individual or agency; or guarantee an agency's responsiveness or fulfillment of any request; these remain the Agency's sole responsibility, including officer conduct, supervision and insurance. Officer.app is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a party to any arrangement between users and any agency.
Detail Requests
Submitting a Detail Request forwards it to the relevant agency's publicly available contact information; Officer.app acts solely as a pass-through and does not review, approve, verify or guarantee delivery of or any response to your request. All agreements, scheduling, compensation and liability for the resulting service are between you and the agency directly; some jurisdictions may require permits, insurance or additional documentation, including hold-harmless or indemnification agreements, between you and the agency.
Agencies may request removal, correction or addition of their listing at any time by contacting hello@officer.app; Officer.app may also modify or remove a listing at its discretion.
Acceptable Use
You may not misrepresent your identity or Officer.app's role, use the Services unlawfully, scrape data without prior written consent, harass any user or agency or submit false requests.
Intellectual Property
Officer.app owns the Services and grants you a limited, revocable license to use them. You grant Officer.app a license to use content you submit, solely to operate and improve the Services.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The services are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, including as to the accuracy of listings, availability or fulfillment of any request. Officer.app does not warrant any agency's or officer's conduct or services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Officer.app is not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for any agency's or officer's conduct, including on- or off-duty misconduct or negligence, which remains the employing agency's responsibility. Officer.app's total liability will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid in the prior six months or $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Officer.app from claims arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute with an agency.
Disputes
You and officer.app agree to resolve any dispute by binding individual arbitration under AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules and each waive any right to a jury trial or class action. This document is governed by the laws of Delaware.
General
Officer.app may suspend access or update these Terms at any time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Officer.app collects, uses, and shares personal information across the Public Directory, Platform and Officer app. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect basic device, browser and log data from anyone browsing the Directory; your contact information and request details if you submit a Detail Request; account information (name, email, and business, agency, or region details) if you create a Customer, Agency or Partner account, including data an Agency enters and manages, to process only at that Agency's direction for and for their invited Officers, name, availability, assignment history and precise location only during active check-in/check-out for a confirmed assignment, never continuous tracking. We do not collect Social Security numbers, biometric data, health information, full payment card numbers, or data from anyone under 18.
How We Use and Share It
We use this information to operate the Directory, forward Detail Requests to the relevant Agency, manage accounts, process payments, and provide support. We share it only with the Agency you contact or with service providers who help operate the Services (hosting, payments, email, analytics, security), and when legally required. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
Retention
We retain information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Services and meet legal obligations, and delete or anonymize it afterward.
Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your information or opt out of marketing emails, by contacting hello@officer.app. We respond to verified requests within 45 days.
Cookies & Security
We use essential, analytics, and preference cookies; analytics and preference cookies can be disabled in your browser. We use encryption and access controls to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
Other
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18. We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted here.
